Bruno Cervilieri Fedri
Victim Support Services, Secretariat of Justice and Citizenship - São Paulo State
My name is Bruno Cervilieri Fedri and I am a psychologist, with specialisation in psychoanalysis. I am a PhD student in School and Human Development Psychology at the University of São Paulo and author of the book A Mother’s Pain - Mourning of Urban Violence (publisher Zagodoni).
Since 2003, I have worked in the area of Human Rights with programs that assist victims of violent crime. I am currently the coordinator for the Center of Victim Services (CRAVI), which is a program run by the Secretariat of Justice and Citizenship for São Paulo state. The objective of this program is to be a reference for activities and public policies that aim to overcome the cycles of violence, as well as promote recognition and citizenship. The program provide the victims of violent crimes access to their rights.
I am interested in the application of Restorative Justice techniques with those who have been involved in fatal violence.
